ATL 1 - Natalie - Troupe Leader & Trainer - Twirling since January 1996

Hi! I’m Natalie. I have been twirling for 22 years and it's a hobby that I love! Starting and running my own troupe has always been a dream of mine and that became reality 10 years ago. I love sharing my love and enthusiasm for the sport and passing in to the next generation of twirlers in my local community. The troupe-and each of my twirlers-mean so much to me and having my sister, Vanessa helping me to teach the troupe is very special and something I really appreciate. I have so many memories that I will always treasure - and we're always making new ones!

I feel my biggest achievements have been becoming a National Champion twice in 2005, my team becoming National Champions in 2009, qualifying as a judge and most importantly, setting up my team so that others may learn and develop in the “Majorette World”.

I enjoy twirling all the equipment  - and you know you're a twirler when you start twirling with non-majorette equipment - pencils, badminton rackets, the lot! I have the pleasure of teaching a team who share my love for twirling and they always make me proud - competitions, grades, shows and training. There is nothing better than seeing them achieve - whether in competition or mastering a new move in training.

I am extremely proud of my troupe and what's to come in their future. Thank you to everyone who has helped and continues to help. I have high aims for the troupe (and myself). Smiles all round!

ATL 2-Vanessa - Troupe Trainer - Twirling since May 1998

Hi, my name is Vanessa and I've been twirling for 19 years. I help Natalie train the girls. I love the troupe because I get to see all my Majorette friends and have a laugh (when we're not twirling, we can usually be found posing for a camera :-) !! I'm certainly the biggest poser of the troupe, but there are several catching up with me - All thanks to my teaching!) My favourite piece of equipment is Poms because it's fun and it's like cheerleading. I also love the dance and energy.

The girls at ATL are so fun to be with and I love being a part of it all. We have a friendly atmosphere at class and all get on like a family. I have won about 100 prizes as well! I love competitions and displays and enjoy making new routines up with the different equipment. I also really enjoy making routines up for the ATL crew to perform.

Majorettes is unique and all my friends think it's great I have the art of twirling. I've got all my equipment grades and baton grades up to Supreme 3 and am a Mace Major. In the future, I hope to improve on what I can do and help everyone at Attwirlettes to achieve their best.

My duo partner is my sister, Natalie - our first one as ATL girls was Snr Pom & we won 2nd! I'm also known as Attwirlettes very own Paris Hilton, after winning 1st in Princess on Parade, taking her off! I've also more recently won a 1st in Princess again - turns out I do a pretty mean Ladybird impression! My biggest achievement to date is winning 2nd in the Vera Wheeler Trophy in my first year entering it which I was really chuffed about.

I aim higher & higher every year - & I love it! xxxx

ATL 3 - Keeley - Twirling since 4th March 2010

My name is Keeley and I am 13. I have been coming to Baton Twirling for 8 years. I have got my bronze, silver, gold, supreme 1, pom and ribbon grades. I like all the pieces of equipment as they are all different and there's lots to learn with each of them. I really like the costumes and all the glitter! I like going to competitions because I make new friends and learn new routines. I have been to lots of competitions now and I have won over 50 prizes, which includes 5 group prizes . I have also been a National Champion. I have been to a few open competitions which are fun. At Nationals 2015, I won 2nd Novice Solo Twirl and Troupe Star. I am famous for being in the newspaper with my Majorette friends. At the 2015 Nationals, I won 2nd in my novice twirl solo and I won troupe star, which made me very happy. This year, I have qualified 6 times and won 2 trophies.
